Grant Writing
▪ Wrote Safe Streets for All (SS4A) grant as Transportation Director; $492,537 was awarded. This grant was the second highest awarded grant in Oklahoma and created jobs for the Tribe, the first highest was awarded to the City of OKC. The SS4A grant is to create and implement an action plan by identifying high injury locations throughout Caddo County and create a plan of correction to lower the risk.
▪ Provided a means of administrative staff for economic development by applying for State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) Technical Assistance grant through the Department of Treasury; $621,532 awarded.
▪ Coordinate a Tribal Fellowship and Training Program to implement once applied and awarded Building Pathways to Infrastructure Jobs grant for $2M.
Human Resources
▪ Update over 100 job descriptions for Caddo Nation and create new job descriptions for 4 tribal companies for efficiency during the new hire process and employee evaluations.
▪ Updated employee evaluation forms for relevancy of information in evaluating over 100 employees. Track and remind all directors of upcoming employee evaluations to keep records and pay increases/decreases up to date.

Management
▪ Plan and conduct various public meetings, community relations activities, and managed over 40 health events and/or trainings per year to promote health and wellness in Indian country and support organizational programs.
▪ Conduct evaluation from all activities through survey feedback of participants for tracking and engagement of what members and the public would like to see implemented.

Grant Writing
▪ To maintain tribal fitness center operations, I wrote Good Health and Wellness in Indian Country (GHWIC) grant; $15K was awarded.
▪ Reapplied for Special Diabetes Program for Indians (SDPI) grant; $118,967 awarded to continue services to tribal members.
▪ To create a job and acquire personal protective equipment supplies, I wrote Southern Plains Tribal Health Board Grant-COVID (SPTHB) grant; $60K awarded.
▪ Coordinate and assist in writing Tribal Opioid Response (TOR) grant: $556,307 awarded. This grant involved collaboration between 5 federally recognized tribes to form a consortium to combat opioid usage and overdoses in Indian Country.
▪ Wrote National Indian Health Board, Strong Systems, Stronger Communities (NIHB-SSSC) grant; $12K awarded to conduct a strategic plan for the health programs. I provided coordination between tribal council, tribal members, community key leaders, tribal employees, and youth for input to plan.
▪ Coordinate with tribal partner and the State of Oklahoma to write Money Follows the Person program; $343,225 awarded. This program is the first attained program for the local tribes in Caddo County and intended to provide revenue generation within the health programs department.
